EXOSUN is the first French solar company to receive dual certifications for its entire range of activities.

At EXOSUN we are convinced that

tomorrow's energy lies in the sun

The sun, the Earth’s first source of renewable and inexhaustible energy, receives every hour enough solar energy to subsist to all of humanities needs for a year.  Available everywhere in the world, solar energy is produced  using technologies that function without emitting CO2,  and their use contributes to the fight  against global warming.

That is why at EXOSUN, in addition to working arduously towards developing the solar technologies of tomorrow, we do our best to limit our impact on the environment throughout all of our activities.

A goal already achieved thanks to our solar tracking concept which allows us to increase electric output by 20 to 40% in comparison to fixed plants with the same installed capacity; and reduce the use of solar panels by 30 to 40% for the same production of kWhs.  By producing more green energy and by using fewer panels, we improve the energy and carbon balance of our solar plants.  For this reason our R&D department is committed to developing high and low concentration systems that will allow us to produce continuously more electricity.  In addition, the daily movement of our trackers allows the ground to receive sunlight and rain at all times.  The land is in this way preserved.

We provide our clients with investment solutions that are not only technically and financially high performing, but equally respectful of the environment.

Certified ISO 14001 for our environmental management, we identify and manage the impact our activities have on the environment.  In order to evaluate our climate footprint, we conduct a carbon balance as well as an environmental analysis for each of our products.  Concerned about our ressources, we study the impact of our products from their design to their dismantling.  In this way we work towards reducing the use of raw materials in favor of recyclable or inert materials, or by working with our clients using reusable packaging.  We also do our best to limit nuisance and pollution on our construction sites, and this for the satisfaction of clients and nearby residents.

Our clients - actors of solar energy

Our clients also contribute to preserving the environment when they integrate solar tracking technology into the projects.  Equipped with trackers, a 1 MW solar plant has a very competitive Energy Payback Time of 1.8 years, and the increase in production generated by the trackers allows them to avoid the emission of 22 000 tons of CO2 after 20 years of operation*, which is equivalent to the emission of over 12 000 cars.
